Brenda`s Kitchen in Youngtown

Only 3 stars due to the fact they charge a fee to use a debit and credit card but they don’t tell you because it’s posted on the door along with many other flyers. Came here for years and always used a debit card. Only noticed this visit since my receipt went into a higher dollar amount. Won’t be back. They should have advised me when I presented my card. It’s a shame since they do have really good home cooked food. But...that’s deception to their customers. Not a nice way to treat their customers. Thumbs down 👎👎👎

Was looking at houses in the area with my in-laws and decided to grab a bite to eat and came across this place! The BEST breakfast food by far! Amazing price, not huge portions, sweet employees. Def will come back here!

Great staff,reasonable prices. Breakfast time very busy. Most items, sausage is frozen patties, not best quality either, when busy food is warm, not hot and coffee not always fresh. Generally an older crowd, who of course linger over food etc, creating a longer wait for a table. Think standards have gone down a but compared to a year ago. More frozen/microwaved food being used.

Really enjoyed this place. Service was great with the small town feel. Kinda like the "cheers" of breakfast places. Food was fantastic got the 2 egg and fired steak and hash browns! If I lived closer would be their all the time!

This was my second time eating there, and both times the meals were wonderful and the staff is very down to earth and friendly. I will definitely be going quite often.

I love this restaurant! It's more like dining with family than anything else. If your lucky enough to get Lynda as your server, you will leave with a full belly, a happy feeling of belonging and a new friend. When you go, tell them I said hi :-)

This homespun restaurant has the most friendly and attentive staff and waitresses that I have ever seen in my 64 years of life. The food is always very tasty. I am exceptionally impressed with the flavor of the coffee, the steel-cut oats oatmeal, the pears and cottage cheese and the wide variety of lunch specials.My husband and I have been staying for 2 weeks at the nearby Quality Inn. They provide a full breakfast. Although we like it there, we had to escape the heavily salt laden breakfast selections and bitter coffee! I finally found the BEST cup of coffee at Brenda’s Kitchen!Brenda is actually there to visit and make you feel welcome!

Oh My Goodness!! A friend and I met here for breakfast and to catch up. I love smaller Mom and Pop type joints vs corporate monstrosities and visit them when possible. Where do I start?Service: Our waitress was friendly, thoughtful and funny ... just like we are so that was great. We told her we would be there for a while, catching up and monopolizing her table. She was cool with it.Food: Food was good. I had an egg, bacon & english muffin (pretty hard to mess up and my friend had the BLT. It was full of bacon like a real BLT should be!Atmosphere: Cozy. And by that I mean small. They do a quick turnover with customers, we were there from 9 to 11 and they were "full" a few times. But you sign up on the list and I don't think we saw anybody wait longer than 5 minutes. PS ... to the wonderful patron who paid our check, thank you. We both have paid it forward!

I'm new to Arizona and work for a major food chain...I am always looking for great food at reasonable prices with an at home feeling~ I definitely found it. I hope to become a regular here.

A hidden jewel in the West Valley. Brenda's is located in Youngtown just South of Grand Avenue. The friendliest owner and staff. The food is excellent good old American comfort food. Nothing too fancy.... just the way I like it. They support local businesses, churches and non-profits like AARP Historic Chapter #1 by wearing their T-Shirts every month. Highly recommend you give them a try.

Brenda's Kitchen is the sort of place that not only satisfies your appetite, but also your soul. Tucked away in a quiet corner of beautiful Sun City, Arizona, you can easily really see why this quaint little restaurant is a cornerstone of the surrounding retiree community. Adorable garments adorn every square inch of the four walls, giving you the warmth and hospitality that one would remember from their grandparents home. The food is exquisite and the service is outstanding. Would recommend for any first time visitors to Sun City!

Very good food and service. Recommend for good breakfast if your out during the week. --I'm from Southeastern PA, and where I grew up we had tons of little family owned breakfast joints. This place reminds me of those places. If only they had scrapple and pork roll(Taylor ham). 😁

I'm handicapped. The owner helped me in, then out later. Food was very good, so was the service. I've lived in this area almost a year and I enjoyed the best chicken fried steak I've had right here. I will return.

If this place was in my neighborhood, I'd eat here often. Unpretentious diner atmosphere where the staff is in non-stop motion taking orders, delivering food, and clearing tables. Good, simple food.
